Welcome to Pack 59! We are one of the largest, longest-serving packs in Austin, Texas. Our mission is to encourage and support Scouts as they learn, play, and support their community. We engage Scouts on multiple levels, including grade-specific den meetings, all grade pack meetings, campouts, hikes, fire building and safety exercises, archery lessons, marksmanship training, Pinewood Derby races, unique one-of-a-kind overnight events at locations ranging from NASA to the USS Lexington to the Battleship Texas to the San Antonio Zoo, and special summer events like the Dell Diamond overnighter, where we watch a ballgame as a Pack and then stick around after the crowds leave to swim, climb the rock wall, watch a movie on the big screen from the field, and then sleep under the stars. We also engage with the larger Austin community through civic events, Go-See-It field trips, and community-focused service projects.
